Tenzo is a restaurant performance platform that aggregates and analyses data from across the hospitality technology stack, helping operators run more efficient and profitable venues.
Its platform which utalises AI integrates with point-of-sale, labour scheduling, inventory and other restaurant systems to unify fragmented operational data. Tenzo delivers real-time insights and forecasting on sales, staffing and stock, enabling restaurant teams to optimise labour, reduce waste and improve margins across their operations.
The inside story
Tenzo began with a simple frustration. While running his own restaurant chain, co-founder Christian Mouysset found himself drowning in spreadsheets and disconnected systems, trying to understand basic questions about performance. Sales data lived in one place, staffing in another, inventory somewhere else entirely, and none of it spoke to each other.
Together with Adam Taylor, a former McKinsey consultant and data specialist, he set out to solve this problem. Their vision was to build the “operating system” for restaurants: a platform that brings together fragmented operational data and turns it into clear, actionable insights that managers can rely on every day.
Why we chose to invest
Hospitality is undergoing a fundamental shift towards data-driven operations. As restaurants adopt more technology the volume of operational data is exploding, but the insights needed to run a business are becoming harder to extract. Tenzo sits at the centre of this ecosystem, transforming fragmented data into intelligence that directly improves performance.
