David Glick, Founder & Chief Executive of Edge VC is renowned as one of the creative economy’s pre-eminent dealmakers. David is passionate about creativity and helping portfolio companies and management teams grow their potential.
In November 2015, Edge launched a £40m Fund I, which is now fully invested in a highly regarded portfolio of creative economy businesses. In November 2021, Edge launched the €100m Fund II, which Edge now invests from.
David co-founded Eatons, a leading music and entertainment law firm, in 1990 before they merged with Mishcon de Reya, where he became head of the entertainment and media practice.
In 2004, he formed the Edge group of companies as a specialist investment and advisory business for the entertainment and media sector, before selling the advisory business in 2011 to concentrate on venture capital investing.
David was an important part of the team at iconic fashion brand Alexander McQueen and Founder of Entertainment Rights (now part of DreamWorks).
David is an alumnus of the Stanford University GSB, a Trustee of The Sarabande Foundation, and a Trustee of Voice for Nature. He is also the Chairman of Tap Music, working with global artists across all facets of the entertainment and sports businesses.
