Ashley Jogoo

Ashley arrived at Edge with an impressive range of experience both in capital and financial markets and has since proved an invaluable addition to the firm thanks to his infectiously positive attitude alongside a willingness to acquire new skills and a drive to help others.

Straight out of university, Ashley (who is a bilingual French speaker) arrived at the energy giant, TOTAL SE as a risk analyst, but broadened his experience quickly working on both the trading floor and in the corporate finance division where he worked on a number of equity and debt-related transactions for the group.

He then moved to Transport for London where he enjoyed significant responsibility in managing TfL’s active cash and derivatives portfolio as well as executing risk management strategies for major projects, including upgrades to the Northern line, Piccadilly line and DLR.

Having worked in the public markets, Ashley saw his role at Edge as an opportunity to enhance his private sector experience. Here his interaction with founders has been substantial and he has enjoyed being able to forensically analyse their business models. His combination of strong interpersonal skills allied to sharp financial acumen has made him an invaluable member of the team.

Notwithstanding his friendly demeanour, Ashley is an avid fan of martial arts movies.
