Lydia Martin

A connector of worlds — film, fashion, sustainability and finance — Lydia brings distinctive cross-sector intelligence to the heart of Edge’s operations.

  • Business Development & Marketing Director, Aegean Film Festival
  • PR Account Lead, Co-Producer, Retail Lead across fashion and luxury brands
  • MSc Sustainability & Innovation, UCL
  • Convener at COP, Davos, Highgrove House for A4S, founded by King Charles III

Professional experience

Few people arrive at a venture capital firm via a Greek Islands film festival, the front rows of New York Fashion Week and the convening rooms of Davos, but Lydia’s unconventionalpath is exactly what gives her an Edge. Having previously worked at Aegean Film Festival, Versace, Osman, TASK PR, and Accounting for Sustainability, she has consistently operated at the meeting point of creativity and consequence, building relationships and fluency across industries that rarely talk to each other.

At Accounting for Sustainability, one of King Charles III’s Charitable Foundations, she contributed to major international convenings at COP, Davos, The Palace, Guildhall and Highgrove House, working at the frontier of sustainable finance and institutional advocacy. Her MSc in Sustainability and Innovation from UCL sits alongside three further degrees spanning fashion and nursing, a breadth that speaks to a genuine intellectual curiosity and a career built on following the work that matters most.

Since joining Edge in 2025 as EA to CEO David Glick, Lydia has immersed herself in the operational and strategic rhythm of the firm, contributing to Edge’s engagement with the broader creative and funding networks. She is building, with characteristic rigour, towards the next chapter of her career.

Beyond the office

An American who has called London home for over a decade, Lydia is a passionate advocate for the arts, a lover of good food and long walks, and is quietly plotting a future running a sustainable arts retreat in Italy. Her travel hitlist grows longer by the day and shows no signs of resolution. She has also found a steadying anchor in Vipassana meditation — one of the oldest forms of the practice — which she returns to whenever the world gets too loud.
