Professional experience
Hugo studied Business Finance at Durham University before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey. He founded and successfully exited a tech start-up that manufactured and managed low carbon e-bike fleets for companies including Deliveroo and Pizza Hut. The company was acquired in 2017.
After the acquisition, Hugo shifted to venture capital, focusing on high-growth digital companies. He has advised numerous private equity funds investing in technology businesses. With several years of investment experience, Hugo has led and supported investments in over 100 companies, overseen multiple exits, and played a pivotal role on the boards of several rapidly growing companies.
