Pirate Open Day

11th October 2024

UK-based, 24 hour music provider Pirate Studios recently ran a free open day for London students, which took place this week at its Dalston studios.

The open day included tours of the studio spaces, beginner DJ workshops, label A&R listening sessions where music industry professionals offered their feedback on unreleased tracks; and a “band blind date” event for musicians to connect with potential collaborators. The day also featured a live performance from singer-songwriter Kaisha.

Having opened its first studio in 2015 in a disused police station in Bristol, Pirate has grown to host spaces in 24 UK towns and cities, while encompassing over 700 studios worldwide. The majority are open 24/7, providing access to fully equipped DJ setups, recording studios, podcasting rooms and live events space
