Edge VC Invests in Tenzo

Edge is pleased to announce our investment in Tenzo, a restaurant performance platform that is transforming how hospitality operators run their businesses.

Tenzo aggregates and analyses data from across the hospitality technology stack, integrating with point-of-sale, labour scheduling, inventory, and other restaurant systems to unify fragmented operational data. The AI-powered platform delivers real-time insights and forecasting on sales, staffing, and stock, enabling restaurant teams to optimise labour, reduce waste, and improve margins across their operations.

The company was founded by Christian Mouysset and Adam Taylor, who experienced firsthand the challenges of managing a restaurant chain through disconnected systems and spreadsheets. Mouysset, while running his own restaurant chain, found himself unable to answer basic performance questions because sales data, staffing information, and inventory lived in separate silos that didn’t communicate with each other. Together with Taylor, a former McKinsey consultant and data specialist, he set out to build the “operating system” for restaurants – a platform that brings together fragmented operational data and turns it into clear, actionable insights that managers can rely on daily.

Hospitality is undergoing a fundamental shift towards data-driven operations. As restaurants adopt more technology, the volume of operational data is exploding, but the insights needed to run a business are becoming harder to extract. Tenzo sits at the centre of this ecosystem, transforming fragmented data into intelligence that directly improves performance.
