This week, FundamentalVR and Orbis International announced the launch of a new small-incision cataract surgical training simulation designed for use in low and middle-income countries, during the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) Annual Meeting in Boston.

This revolutionary training will aim to integrate VR, haptic feedback, cloud assessment data, and off-the-shelf hardware to create a solution for cataract surgical training in resource-limited settings.
