Last week, Mojo Vision took to the stage at SPIE Photonics West AR/VR/MR Conference in San Francisco which saw a number of their senior team address the audience on:

• The exciting progress of Mojo’s RED micro-LED
• Developments in their industry-leading 300mm process for micro-LED, along with their partner Applied Materials (AMAT)
• “AR/VR Light Engines” panel which covered the various display options

The conference comes at a key point in the “AI glasses” evolution, with 2024 already being crowned ‘The year of AI glasses’ by Computer World, with similar sentiments echoed by Forbes.

With the arrival of Apple’s Vision Pro augmented reality platform, experts predict a battle for the top spot in the AI glasses space with Google, Apple, Microsoft and OpenAI all rumoured to be in the running. These are encouraging signals for Mojo’s single panel RGB micro-LED in development, which could prove to be a critical ingredient across the market.
