Portfolio company BLAST have just completed an incredible six weeks of UK E-sports arena events, coming to a close this week. G2 a leading E-sports team brought home the trophy by winning the RLCS (Rocket League Championship Series) London Major at Copper Box Arena in front of thousands of fans.

Whilst the RCLS marks the completion of a busy period for BLAST, the team have done a fantastic job in delivering three events in Manchester and London. These events have created over $28 million in economic impact and attracted more than 45,000 fans. The success of these events continues to show how the UK has been at the centre of global E-sports and gaming in recent history, further reaffirming the UK as a Cultural Soft Power Superpower amongst global economies.
