BLAST are delighted to announce that their R6 Six Invitational was the biggest e-sports event in Rainbow Six videogame history.
The 2024 iteration of the Six Invitational, the annual Rainbow Six Siege world championship, is officially the biggest in the seven-year history of the tournament. It saw a sell-out crowd in São Paulo after a record-breaking Grand Final which saw w7m e-sports lift the hammer and become World Champions in front of their home crowd as well as taking home $1,000,000.
The event took place over three days and welcomed more than 9,000 fans attending the all-Brazilian Grand Final between w7m esports and FaZe Clan.
Those watching online set a viewing record as 521,000 tuned in to witness history. This surpassed the previous peak record held by the Six Invitational 2018, by more than 205,000 viewers according to Esports Charts & Streams Charts.
